Your Hair Is Your Best Accessory

You can have a wardrobe full of clothes, a jewelry box filled with rings and bracelets, and a shoe closet filled with dozens of pairs of stylish footwear. But your most versatile accessory is something you carry with you every day.

On any given day, you can do your hair a wide variety of ways to provide you with many different looks. And the longer your hair, the more you can do with it. Here are some ideas for making your hairstyle your most important fashion accessory.

Straighten It

Long, straight, lustrous hair is always attractive. It can draw attention to your figure, dramatically change your look, and make you look taller and more glamours all at the same time.

Straighten your hair by washing it with your favorite shampoo then treating it with a high-quality conditioner. Use a combination of a blow dryer and a straightening iron to work out any kinks or curls. While it may take a little time to straighten your hair depending on its length, the end result is often worth it.

Curl It

On the opposite end of the spectrum, curling your hair can give you an entirely different look using exactly the same hair. After washing and conditioning your hair, use a curling iron to add curls that highlight your face. Work from the top down and the inside out.

Curls that bounce can help show off your face and figure and give you a cute, perky look that is sure to turn heads.

Put It Up

We are all used to putting our hair up when we are exercising or doing something active so it isn’t hanging down in our faces, but you can also increase your glamour level exponentially by piling your hair up on top of your head for a more formal look.

For a more elegant look, don’t just put your hair up with a scrunchy or a pair of barrettes. Do some research into up hairstyles that you like, especially those done by some of your favorite celebrities. Then take some time and try to replicate the look at home before unveiling it to the world in public.
